Open House Brentwood Sportsplex Sat., Apr 24, 12-4 pm

BCGG is hosting an Open House on Sat., April 24th from noon to 4 pm at the Brentwood Sportsplex. Admission is free! There are free activities for kids!

Why an Open House? you ask. Well, there are many reasons such as:
a)The Open House will provide an opportunity to see what the BCGG has accomplished and still hopes to accomplish this year and in future years.
b)Find out how you can lend us a hand.
c)Brentwood residents can get information on plot rentals.
d)The feature speaker, Mr. Bert Einsiedel, will give an illustrated talk from 2-2:30 pm on "Fertile Soils, Productive Gardens, Sustainable Communities, and Great Civilizations." Bert is an avid gardener, retired educator, member of the Board of Directors of the Calgary Community Garden Resource Network, and the Garden Path Society Community Garden. This promises to be an informative session - bring your gardening family and friends!
e)Community residents will have the chance to get together in a fun atmosphere to meet and mingle.
f)Support the Hot Dog Sale and Silent Auction to raise funds towards building the Brentwood Community Garden.

If you have an service or product you would be willing to donate for the Silent Auction please contact us at brentwoodgardening@hotmail.com or sjdrader@gmail.com.

We know Brentwood is a wonderful community to live in. Come join us in our efforts to make it even better!
